Each map could get their own write-up in this blog. Instead, by grouping together different types of infrastructure into one article, a viewer can understand the large scope and consider multiple categories in the same subject at once. This visualization does a good job of keeping each map the same size and marking major cities like Chicago to allowe viewers to compare from map to map. The urban metabolism field can educate viewers by using the strategy that this newspaper uses.
