In-use product stocks drive anthropogenic material cycles and provide functions or services demanded by modern human society

This graphic shows the anthropogenic materials cycle, with a focus on what is contained in the category of in-use stocks. It would have been better to put the bottom part of the graphic first, to indicate we are looking at the cycle, and then include the different parts of in-use afterwards. The graphic is simple, but in my opinion in a crude way. The images that represent stocks and products in-use are outdated.
