One of the first urban metabolism illustrations

This diagram is presented as 'one of the first illustrations of urban metabolism'. It presents the water flow through Hong Kong and by using a sankey diagram. The resolution is unfortunately not too high but this image does give a good insight into the different sinks and final uses of water in Hong Kong. The curved arrows make for a playful style, while still being clear.
