Electricity consumption in Hong Kong in 2010

This graphic is a different take on a Sankey diagram. The electrical consumption of Hong Kong, in terajoules, is apportioned first by user and then by use by that user. A weakness of this graphic is that a large proportion of use is named "other uses", and more detail could be provided to clarify what contributes to that category. For Hong Kong to become more energy efficient, this graphic makes it easy to identify the "veins" that can be reduced - like air conditioning and lighting electricity needs.
